This sort of option really doesn't leave much room for debate when it comes to sleeping on the wet spot, eh? Although, according to Black Diamond’s description, there is “a large, reinforced mesh drain hole…built in the center of each bed.” Ahhh, the drain hole…for those times when you just have to get you some on the side of a windy, cold mountain…and you have to “get you some” enough so that you require a drain. Ok, so maybe the porn-star Olympics weren’t the impetus for the drain hole.
Perhaps it's the non-climber-acrophobic in me, but I can't imagine sex in something like this. Certainly, the moment of orgasm would be heightened -- the same way grabbing a rock isn't just grabbing a rock when it's, say, 300 feet off the ground and all that separates you from being intimately acquainted with terminal velocity is a 10 millimeter rope. Yes, you may have 28 square feet of ballistic nylon to get your groove on (queen sized bed, about 30), and yes, being tied up is fun, but still…The threat of death or falling would, at least for me, reduce sex to something like inch worms mating. Don’t forget about that pesky drain hole…
